In October 2020, Friendship Circle added the Dakota Bakery, a respected and established bakery in West Bloomfield, Michigan, to our portfolio of programs. Thousands of community members love the company and its delicious baked goods. As the new owner, Friendship Circle has developed a training program to create new employment opportunities for adults with special needs. Trainees gain hands-on experience working in all areas of the bakery while also learning essential life skills like time management, organization, and customer service. As the training program and business expand, our goal is to employ additional individuals with special needs at the bakery.
